Surgery is complete and the results were very positive. The 1st level lymph nodes had to removed as they were still positive for cancer cells (inactive I think). As expected, D feels like she's been run over, but the pain meds are starting to do their work which also means she is fading in and out of our in depth conversations. We're in a very nice private room where I will have a cot for the night. Hopefully this will be a one night stay and we'll be home tomorrow.
D and I are very thankful for all the good thoughts and prayers and for Dara and Karen's visitation.
