Well we have had a lovely three day visit with Gretchen..who cooked some wonderful meals, and helped me with some very overdue gardening projects..(lots of dead and neglected plants.We tried to convince her she should just stay and take care of us (because clearly we need it!) ..but she didn't think that Chris or the kids would go for it..She had to drive Tom to the doctors yesterday..since he had had a terrible stiff neck for several days  and had taken too many muscle relaxants to be safe behind the wheel..!.The doctor  sent him for xrays and we will get the results on Monday..also he got a referral for physical therapy. The first guess is arthritis.. but stay tuned.
The best news for me is that  my energy came back today...sixteen days! Thank heavens that was the last round of that stuff!  It was by far the worst.This week I am having an mri to see what the tumor is doing..and Thurs I start the new round of chemo...which is Taxol...and will hopefully not knock me on my butt. Gretchen leaves tomorrow morning.. to fly back to Bellingham.She picked up Cooper tonight from his other grandparents..(where he had been while Gretchen stayed with us).so we had a nice little visit with him too.
