so far, the "best" round yet, thanks in part to some new advice from the dr and the nurse administering the drugs. the simple advice is to stay ahead of known reactions. in our case, it is the severe headache that develops a few hours after the drugs are given. this time d took a vicodin just after getting the drugs and wonder of wonders, the headache has been very mild, nausea light. d's energy level is way down, as expected, but she's up this morning, cooked brunch, and is now ready for a nap. so we hope conditions continue to improve from here.
we won't be up late tonight, or doing a happy dance yet, but we wish all the best new year ever and continue to be thankful for the good thoughts and wishes from family and friends.

ReplyDeleteSo very glad you have a new doctor that is so thorough and giving good advice. Ironic to think that the result of not getting nauseaus is to have a migraine. Doesn't seem fair! I know the new year will be a better year, while still a difficult journey.
